What is Variational Production?
Variational production is the method of production in which one or more components of a product are produced almost the same structural properties and different models or dimensions are produced. The best example of productions with different variations is the textile sector. A t-shirt producing textile manufactures in different sizes or colors in different variations from the t-shirt product. In this way, it can offer services to its entire audience, namely customers looking for t-shirts. By-product production, which is our most recent development in the Fabricator, has the flexibility to serve all manufacturers that produce different variations of the same product, such as the textile sector, when properly constructed.
Let’s explore together how you can create a variation record at the Fabricator through the t-shirt production example.
First of all, in order to manage our stocks easily, we will treat each product version as a separate product. On this occasion, each body stock can be tracked separately and you can easily track how much is in your stocks, which body is more in your stocks and which one is how much sales performance.
Suppose that we produce 5 t-shirts from S, M, L and X-L sizes. On the Production Slip creation screen, first select una Sample T-Shirt / S una to the question ‘What do you want to produce?’. Let’s write 5 for quantity.
At this stage, we enter the beden Add By-Product ’button to enter the registration of other sizes. In this section, select Aç Sample T-Shirt / M sefer and type 5 in quantity. If you have not made product registrations of different sizes, you can complete the product registration without leaving this screen with the Ekle Add New Product ’option.
Add the L and XL sizes to the list again using the Add by-product ’button.
You can now add all the materials you used to make this production to the material list. You can also add fabric, yarn and other raw materials to the material list to complete the production registration.
When you have completed the production registration, you can now make your final checks on the production receipt screen. If everything is correct, press the İş Process Parachute ’button. After this process, the sample T-Shirt / S, M, L and X-L products that are subject to production will be added to your stocks and the materials used in production will be dropped from your stocks. You can verify and verify the inventory records created for this production in Parachute.
