Our goal as a fabricator is to provide you with the best production management infrastructure. For this purpose, in line with our interviews with our valued customers and the feedback we receive from you, we have implemented a fundamental change in the use of the Production Slip, which is one of the basic functions of the Fabricator. With the change we have made, we have taken the experience of creating a new BOM which we developed in early May one step further.
The first thing we did was to redesign the production receipt creation experience. As of today, when you create a production slip within the Fabricator, a simpler and more flexible production receipt screen welcomes you.
Simplicity and convenience were not the only things we focused on when planning our production receipt improvements. In addition, we have integrated new features that the Production Receipt did not already have. In the rest of our article, we would like to briefly explain these newly added features.
Manufacturing Records are now more flexible
In an ideal world, all production processes could go as planned. However, like you, we know that plans can change at any time during production. The feedback we received from you revealed the following items:
- Waste during production,
- Change in the amount of use of one or more raw materials in the recipe during production,
- Use of equivalent raw material in case of lack of stock in raw material.
- Add or subtract raw material to the basic recipe for specific orders.
All these needs led us to a single solution: Customizable Manufacturing Record.
Now you can make any change in your Production Slips; You can easily complete operations such as adding or removing raw materials, taking into account the waste generated in production in the Production Slip step. Any changes you make to your production receipt will not affect your product recipe. Any changes you make will be specific to the current production receipt.
Creating Manufacturing Record Without BOM
The basic working principle of the fabricator was (1) to generate a bill and (2) to enter a production receipt based on the bill. In your feedback, we’ve learned that the fact that each production is linked to a recipe slows down business processes and even prevents use in some business models.
In order to eliminate this problem, our production receipts are able to operate independently of the prescription. No longer;
- One-time order based productions,
- Sample productions,
And for other, non-prescription, productions like these, you can start your production directly from the Production Receipt stage. Simply go to the Production Slips page and follow the ‘Create New Record’ steps.
The new production receipt experience has been designed to meet the above-mentioned features during editing. This means that you can make changes to a production receipt at any time (in order to avoid inconsistencies in stocks, you must complete all changes before processing them on Parachute).
We continue to develop Fabrikatör in line with your feedback. Please do not hesitate to contact us at [email protected] for your questions, comments and suggestions.
Just log in to the Fabricator and experience our new recipe creation screen.
